Line 6 announced some new Helix products today as part of a live broadcast commemorating the 10th anniversary of Helix.
They’re going to release two new flagship Helix floor units called the Stadium and Stadium XL with some upgraded hardware and a new user interface with improved amp modeling called Agoura.
The new units have some interesting hardware upgrades, including a new DSP chip with a dedicated GPU to help power the new 8″ touch screen. The instrument inputs have 126dB of dynamic range, the effects returns and aux-in have 120+dB and there’s a mic input with 128dB. They have memory card slots. They also have WiFi and Bluetooth.
The Stadium XL adds a second instrument input, 2 effects loops, a dual control jack, scribble strips, 2 extra push encoders, 5 extra shortcut buttons, and an expression pedal.
Other new products announced include the Expand D10 digital I/O expansion unit, the EX2 expression pedal/toe switch, and the specially-designed Helix Stadium Backpack.
In 2026 Line 6 plans on adding cloning features for amps and cabs and effects, which is basically their take on capturing and profiling. Line 6 is calling this new feature Proxy.
Check out the second video below because it explains a lot more about the new user interface and the new software features, and shows what to expect with the new touchscreen navigation.
