Ample Metal Eclipse is Virtual ESP Eclipse Guitar Plugin

September 15, 2015 by Nathan

Ample Metal Eclipse

I came across some surprisingly good-sounding demos of Ample Sound’s new Metal Eclipse over on the KVR Audio forums.

As it turns out, Ample Sound offers a number of virtual guitar instruments. The Metal Eclipse II is the first release in a new Ample Metal series.

The Ample Metal Eclipse (AME for short) is modeled after the ESP Eclipse I guitar.

By default it uses the drop C tuning (C G C F A D) for a heavier sound. AME comes with a 3.5GB sample library.

It also features a tool called the Tab Player that can load and play guitar tablature.

Ample Metal Eclipse is available as a plugin for AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats, and it also works as a stand-alone program.

More info and demos can be found on the Ample Sound website. The demos are available to download as projects for various DAWs.
